North Shore Open Space Park Beach
Popular in the Miami Beach area, the beach offers shallow surf and very fine sand. Visitors are welcome to run, swim, walk, or play on the playground. Parents may want to note that partial nudity is allowed. Amenities include concessions, nearby restaurants, ample parking, changing rooms, and showers. Lifeguards are on duty

South Beach
Known for its excellent people watching, the busiest area of South Beach spans from 5th street to about 15th street. A concrete esplanade bustles with excitement as in-line skaters, joggers, and walkers parade the busy South Beach area. The beach offers soft sand, aqua-blue water, and perfect body-surfing waves. Beach amenities include changing facilities, beach chair rentals, and a nearby restaurant with waiters that serve on the beach. For a quieter beach excursion, the beaches north of 20th street provide a bit more peace and quiet.

North Miami Beach
A large stretch of beach, North Miami Beach lays claim to an excellent boardwalk that spans the length of the beach. Pleasant and shallow surf combined with fine sand make this beach great for sunbathers and swimmers alike. Popular recreational activities consist of snorkeling, bicycling, running, walking, sail boarding, inline skating, jet skiing, and fishing. Parents may want to note that North Miami Beach allows partial nudity. Amenities include changing rooms, showers, concessions, and ample parking.

Haulover Park Beach
One of the more popular beaches in Miami, Haulover boasts a half-mile long beach with plenty of room to sun and play. Across the street from the beach there is a full-service marina, restaurants, tennis courts, a family 9-hole golf course, and sundries shops. Visitors with families should note that Haulover allows partial nudity.
Amenities include changing rooms, showers, beach-rental equipment, and surf fishing.
